Requirements

What you'll need to qualify

  • At least 21 years old
  • License held 1+ year, clean record (≤2 points)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Pass a background check & 4-panel drug screen
  • Available at least one weekend day each week
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Questions, answered

Am I employed by Amazon?
No — you're hired by Samuels & Co, an independent Amazon Delivery Service Partner. We deliver Amazon packages, but you're part of our local team.
Do I need a special license?
No CDL required. A standard, valid driver's license is all you need to drive our delivery vans. Step Van routes also require a DOT medical examiner's certificate (MEC).
What does training look like?
It's paid and hands-on. After training, you'll spend a full day on the road running a real route with a trainer before you go solo.
Where will I be delivering?
Out of our Lockbourne hub across the Greater Columbus area — both residential neighborhoods and rural routes, typically 100–300 packages a day.
